The Barrow Solar Project is a 2 MW (ac) ground mount solar project located in the Town of Somers, Connecticut. The project generates enough energy to power approximately 355 homes. Barrow Solar achieved commercial operation in June 2021 and is currently selling power under a Power Purchase Agreement with Eversource. The RECs generated by the project are being sold to Eversource under the LREC/ZREC program.
