Vineyard Sky Farms is a farming enterprise, specifically, raising and management of sheep. VS Farms currently owns and manages a flock of 125 registered Dorpers ewes and two registered rams. The breeding flock is from the Highloft Farm of Sutton Massachusetts. The sheep spend half their time grazing at solar sites and the other half in a conventional bedded pack barn.

Dan Finnegan, Founder and General Manger of Solar Shepherd, LLC possesses a wealth of business ownership, financial service, analytics and farming expertise central to the company’s reputation as a unique provider to the solar industry.
With a career that spans marketing, sales, distribution strategies and client services roles, Mr. Finnegan has over 20 years of financial service/investment management experience.
Driven by Dan’s passion for environmental, social and governance (ESG) investments, Dan crossed industries in 2018 founding Solar Shepherd, LLC.
Solar Shepherd, LLC brings co-agriculture turn-key solutions tailored to the needs of solar farms.
Along with Reggie, a reliable and much loved border collie, Mr. Finnegan manages his sheep which include Border Leicesters, Suffolks and Cheviots spanning the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
