The Plainfield 1 Solar Project is a 999 kW(ac) ground mount solar project located in the Town of Plainfield, Connecticut. The project generates enough energy to power approximately 165 homes. Plainfield Solar achieved commercial operation in December 2019 and is currently selling net metering credits under a long-term contract with a Town in Connecticut. The RECs generated by each of the projects is being sold to Eversource under the LREC/ZREC program.
